BIO-1156  Wellness and Health Issues  (3 Credits)  An overview of the dimensions of wellness, including physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, occupational, and environmental wellness, with a focus on concepts of health and wellness, within the context of community, including cost to the Health Care System. An analysis, explanation and identification of individualized strategies of personal health issues, and dimensions of fitness to build resiliency and take responsibility for one's own health, will be explored.
