Wind Turbine Technician
Work as a technician work in the wind-turbine industry, or continue working toward your journeyman electrician certification.
Delivery
- 32-week certificate
- September or January admission
- Prepares students to write BZEE exams for certificate of competence
Careers
- Find work in areas such as: wind turbine electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, blade inspection and repair, wind farm construction, turbine manufacturing
Admission Requirements
High School Diploma with 50% Math 20 and 50% English 30-1 or 30-2 and a minimum of 10 high school science credits. Or successful completion of Alberta Apprenticeship first period Electrical pre-entrance exam with a minimum of 70%.
