Our facilities are among the best anywhere

Cousins Science Centre: fully renovated in 2007, this facility includes research-grade labs and equipment used by students in health, environmental science and cellular/molecular studies. Our renowned Hubbard Wildlife Collection of taxidermy is housed here, along with necropsy labs and storage facilities for other specimens.

SPHERE: our Simulated Patient Health Environment for Research and Education is an evolving learning facility for nursing and EMT students, enabling them to hone their skills in a computerized, real-to-life setting. SPHERE computers can create almost any patient-care situation, allowing students to experience, and deal with, a full range of medical emergencies.

Physical Education Centre: a complete facility for our Kodiaks athletes and all students who value physical fitness, the PE Centre includes a range of top-notch equipment, racquet courts and the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, one of the best in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. Read more.

Residence Life: Opened in the fall of 2010, our newest apartment-style residence joins two townhouse centres to make students feel at home in clean, modern facilities. Townhomes include full kitchens, and family accommodation is available. Many units are accessible to students with disabilities. Read more.

ACE: the Aquaculture Centre of Excellence is a unique venture on campus. Technologists raise grass carp which are released into waterways to control weed growth. The recycled water is used to grow vegetables in the ACE greenhouse. Read more.

Day Care: A fully accredited welcoming place for children from 19 months to school age, this facility is open from September to June for 40 children of students and staff. It also serves as a practicum experience for students in our Early Childhood Education program. Read more.
