HCA-108 Activities of Daily Living

In this course, students will learn how to assist clients in day-to-day activities. Assisting clients in meeting their personal hygiene needs of bathing in a safe, comfortable and supportive manner will be addressed. Students will learn methods of bed making and how to use assistive devices while ensuring client comfort and safety. How to take care of the body, how to address the grieving process, and how to meet the care needs of the family will also be explored.
