RSP-259 Supported Employment

This course focuses on encouraging the development of meaningful and productive roles for people with disabilities with respect to employment, alternatives to employment and post-secondary education. Focus will be on the preparation, development, training and retention strategies needed for successful supported and competitive employment. Students will learn best practice job search and job development strategies that have been proven effective when supporting individuals who are employment disadvantaged due to a disability. Not available for supplemental.
