Making a difference
In just two years, you’ll have the knowledge and understanding necessary to help individuals make a change and rehabilitate their lives. You will also have a wealth of practical knowledge through the completion of practicums in real correctional environments. And, should you choose to expand your knowledge of this challenging field, upon completion of your diploma, you qualify for entry into the third year of our Bachelor of Applied Arts in Justice Studies. You can look forward to a rewarding career that works for you.
There is an elective practicum component to this program. The College dictates the legal terms and conditions governing the practicum experience.
Applicants are advised they will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check prior to enrolling in the practicum. The existence of a criminal record may affect practicum placement and future employment prospects. The agencies reserve the right to determine who is considered a suitable candidate.
