CAP-299 Practicum

This course is offered to Communication Arts students during the final semester of study. Students are required to find a practicum placement with a host who can provide a work experience that will support the learning outcomes of the course. Practicums need to be taken under the guidance of a supervisor experienced and currently operating in the student's chosen field. A suitable host must be able to provide the equipment, site and expertise to properly offer a complete work experience. College facilities and equipment cannot be used to complete a practicum. Students are expected to perform the duties of an entry-level employee of the business. Not available for supplemental.
