Build the road to success

Create the career you’ve always wanted with our Civil Engineering Technology program. Our intensive, nationally accredited two-year diploma will get you on the inside track to designing cities, roads and bridges and prepare you for work in a rewarding industry. You’ll learn about topics ranging from Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) and land surveying to fluid mechanics, applied physics and concrete technology. In the second year, you’ll focus on engineering design and management to help you gain a more practical understanding of your trade.

PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
There is an elective practicum component to this program. The College dictates the legal terms and conditions governing the practicum experience. Refusal by the student to accept by way of legal contract these terms and conditions will prevent the student from participating in the practicum experience.

Students can apply for a free student membership in the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.

* International students pay a differential tuition fee but all other costs are the same as those charged domestic students, see detailed costs.
* Costs for supplies may vary considerably depending on what students already have or where they purchased their supplies; cost provided is on the moderately high end.
• Year 1 laptop lease costs total $1811.75; the $250 deposit and $160 access fee will be deducted from student loans but the remaining $1401.75 will not. Year 2 students are charged only the $160 access fee which can be deducted from loans. First year students must pay the $1401.75 up front.
