Our one-year certificate will give you a practical understanding of automobiles/trucks and what makes them tick. From simple components to advanced computerized vehicle systems, you’ll learn it all. We’ll give you the hands-on experience you need working in our shops using the latest tools and equipment, offering you a first-hand look at this intriguing field.
Automotive Systems is right for you if you:
- have good hearing, eyesight and manual dexterity
- possess mechanical aptitude and interest
- can keep up to date with changing technology
- can work alone or as part of a team.
Put your career in high-gear
In no time, you’ll find yourself at the heart of the action, repairing a variety of automotives from shop units to customers’ vehicles. You can even ‘soup up’ your vehicle in our shop. You’ll be knowledgeable of a variety of concepts, including drive trains, directional control systems and much more.
Awards 600 hours of experience credit (300 to each of the first- and second-year Auto Service Technician program).
