Cabinet Making I
This course is intended for the student with little or no experience in cabinet making. All students will be taught how to construct a simple drawer cabinet and will gain experience in cutting basic cabinet making joints. Emphasis will be placed on precision cutting and milling of hardwoods and plywoods. Students will be instructed in the safe operation of the table saw, jointer, thickness planer and drill press. Instruction will be through a series of demonstrations and videos. Students will be responsible for purchasing some materials at a cost of approximately $40. Instructor: Steve Deppisch
