RRM-1196 Map and Aerial Photo Interpretation

This course involves map reading, types of maps and their uses, and interpreting map features. Some major topics include location, scale, and topographic measurements. Black-and-white and colour aerial photographs are used to identify important features of the landscape. Satellite imagery is reviewed in relation to global positioning systems (GPS) and geographic information systems (GIS). Not available for supplemental.
