Skills & Knowledge You'll Develop

The first five years of a child’s life are crucial to overall development. Our Early Childhood Education certificate or diploma will give you skills and knowledge you need to be a contributing part of this process. Upon successful completion of the program, you will:

• be knowledgeable about the healthy development of young children
• have an introduction to child growth and behaviour along with health, nutrition and safety.

You will be able to:

• work in a variety of settings with children who are developing typically or those who have special needs
• further your education with university-transferrable courses.
