As a health professional, people look to you for guidance on their overall health and well-being. You need to have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the solutions they seek. Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Nursing program, you will:

- diagnostic reasoning
- innovative clinical practice
- leadership
- rural, elderly and First Nations populations.
You will be able to:
- work in a variety of healthcare facilities
- complete comprehensive and focused health assessments
- diagnose health problems
- support and counsel patients regarding health problems
- prescribe medications to treat common diseases, disorders and injuries
- consult and collaborate with physicians
- be eligible to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE), giving you the opportunity to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
