Lethbridge College launches student-run literary magazine

Ursa Minor, Lethbridge College’s new student-run literary magazine, is hot off the press. Filled with short stories, poetry, photography and art by Lethbridge College students, the publication is the tangible result of a new work-integrated learning course in the Centre for Business, Arts and Sciences called English 2291 – Literary Magazine.

Business Administration grad named Lethbridge College’s valedictorian

Annette Kampert, a Business Administration – Accounting student and active volunteer on campus and in the community, has been named valedictorian for Lethbridge College’s Spring 2024 Convocation. She will lead the procession of graduates and speak at both ceremonies planned for May 24 in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.

The Lethbridge College Faculty Association (LCFA) and the Lethbridge College Students’ Association (LCSA) have reviewed the 115 nominations submitted by students and have announced the winners of this year’s Teaching Excellence Awards.

Lethbridge College announces 2024 Honouring Excellence award recipients

Lethbridge College is celebrating the success of four outstanding alumni with the 2024 Honouring Excellence Awards. Honorees this year include Distinguished Alumni Heidi Gravelle (Bachelor of Applied Arts – Correctional Studies 2005); Career Virtuoso Leta Pezderic (Fish and Wildlife Technology 2003, Renewable Resource Management 2002); Community Leader JP Gentile (Recreation Management 1996) and Rising Star Bryan Pachal (Massage Therapy 2018).
