The Senior Leadership Team of Lethbridge College is committed to a Health and Safety Program that protects students, staff, other workers and general public, as well as the property and facilities of the College. Protection from accidental and preventable loss is our goal.
Employees at every level are responsible and accountable for the College’s Health and Safety performance and must be familiar with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, as it relates to their work routine.
The Senior Leadership Team will set an example and provide leadership in the Health and Safety Program by implementing health and safety policy and work procedures and by providing proper equipment and training.
Safety is the direct responsibility of all employees. All employees will perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures, safe work practices and reporting foreseeable hazards, which may result in personal injury / illness, accidents or property damage.
