Lethbridge College has developed strong ties to the community through its SPHERE (Simulated Patient Health Environment for Research and Education). This unique teaching tool, which includes a computerized human simulator, is used by campus nursing students, as well as Southern Alberta municipalities who engage the College to train their Paramedics and other emergency personnel.
Knowledge for healing hands
Yes, we train nurses: students entering the Nursing Education in Southwestern Alberta program complete the first two years at Lethbridge College. But we have far more than that to offer.
If you're the coaching type, or someone who takes pleasure helping others achieve their physical optimum, Health Sciences likely has a program in your future.
Holistic medicine, whole body health and hands-on healing are part of this industry, which involves training high-performance athletes, leading seniors in active lives, or gaining a glimpse into the world of nursing as a possible future career.
