One of the goals of Collide-O-Scope is to secure funding for eight new student awards. We don’t want cost to be a barrier – we want to ensure that students who wish to attend college can attend, by increasing accessibility through eight new awards directed to students in:

  • Digital Communications & Media
  • Fashion Design & Sustainable Production
  • Interior Design Technology
  • Multimedia Production

Thank you for your support!

About

Collide-O-Scope is a unique, high-energy collaborative fundraiser, which raises money for student awards within the School of Media and Design. The word kaleidoscope originates from the Greek words kalos and eidos, meaning “beautiful form.” This idea reflects the aspirations of these diverse programs to join forces to create a spectacular event, just as the objects in a kaleidoscope combine to create a complex pattern of constantly changing colours and shapes.

The event showcases student work in the four programs: Digital Communications and Media, Fashion Design and Sustainable Production, Interior Design Technology and Multimedia Production. These programs have come together to create an exciting interactive experience for audience members.

While Collide-O-Scope initially debuted at the college decades ago as a fashion show, the faculty and staff of the School of Media and Design saw a real opportunity to collaboratively celebrate the success of all of their students. The event has now evolved into a rich, interactive experience featuring the four programs and their graduates, and we are extremely proud to present this event to you!

Thanks to the generosity of our event supporters, we have been fortunate to create eight student awards for our programs that will be announced during the event. All funds raised during the event goes towards student awards.
