I volunteered for my first Relay for Life in my hometown of Claresholm in 2009 as an entertainment coordinator. This year I have decided to get involved again with creating the first relay at Lethbridge College. My role is once again highly related to planning the event and entertainment for the relay. The event is set to take place March 2nd from 7am-7pm at the DA Electric Barn. This event is a great way to interact with other students and faculty all while doing something for a great cause. If you are interested in volunteering whether that be for your required program hours or just because you want to, check out the website as well. The relay is coming up quick. Make sure to register as soon possible! We hope to have teams of 10-15 people. Register within your program, classes, or with your friends. There will be entertainment all night long as well as dinner, midnight snack and breakfast! The night will be filled with fun activities that include Zumba, Yoga, games and more.
