Grant Funding
Alberta Works and Canada/Alberta Works funding is non-repayable grant funding available to eligible learners. We can assist you in the process of obtaining your Alberta Work grant.
Am I eligible for funding?
You may be eligible for Alberta Works funding to pay for your Lethbridge College education if you:
- are a current resident of Alberta
- are unemployed or not able to live on your current income
- lack the skills training needed to find a great job
- have been out of the regular (K-12) school system for at least 12 consecutive months
- are legally entitled to work in Canada
- have a career goal
- need money to attend school

What is my next step?
Attend a funding information session, held every Monday (excluding holidays) from 10 a.m. – noon in the E.C. Fredericks Theatre (CE1365). Confirm room number at the Information Desk. You do not need to pre-register, just show up and bring paper and a pen.
