Grant Funding

Alberta Works and Canada/Alberta Works funding is non-repayable grant funding available to eligible learners.  We can assist you in the process of obtaining your Alberta Work grant.

Am I eligible for funding?

You may be eligible for Alberta Works funding to pay for your Lethbridge College education if you:

• are a current resident of Alberta
• are unemployed or not able to live on your current income
• lack the skills training needed to find a great job
• have been out of the regular (K-12) school system for at least 12 consecutive months
• are legally entitled to work in Canada
• have a career goal
• need money to attend school

Part-time bursaries may be available for:

• Central Sterile Processing *
• Fetal Alchohol Spectrum Disorder Education *
• Disability and Community Rehabilitation *

What is my next step?

Attend a funding information session, held every Monday (excluding holidays) from 10 a.m. – noon in the E.C. Fredericks Theatre (CE1365). Confirm room number at the Information Desk. You do not need to pre-register, just show up and bring paper and a pen.
