David Maze, MAIS

Chair
Dave was born and raised in Edmonton. He became interested in policing early in his life and joined the Edmonton Police Service Venturer Cadet program while in high school. After graduating from the Law Enforcement Program at Grant MacEwan Community College in 1985, Dave then began a 27-year career with the Lethbridge Police Service. Dave is married to Helen and they have one daughter, Katherine. Dave enjoys golfing, fly fishing and travel with his friends and family.

Seth Adema, PhD

Faculty
Seth finished his PhD in the history of incarceration of Indigenous peoples in Canada in 2016. Before coming to Lethbridge College in 2019, he worked in justice sector policy, first at the Chiefs of Ontario and then at the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Sheila French, PhD

I hail from Saint John, N.B. I obtained my graduate degrees and original foundations in experimental psychology research and teaching from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John. From there, while living in Prince Albert and Regina, I worked within the Saskatchewan Provincial Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing. I have been an Albertan and a member of faculty at Lethbridge College since 2011.
