Volunteer with TLC
We are busy people. We have a lot on our plates. But, very often, busy people still make time to volunteer. Why is that? A few reasons…
We want to make the world a better place…many worthwhile events wouldn’t happen without volunteers… you can learn about yourself and explore career possibilities… you can make a difference in someone’s life… it feels good… make new networking contacts… give something back to express gratitude… gain valuable experience… challenge yourself… it’s good for your health!… apathy is boring… expand your social life… make someone else’s day… BE THE CHANGE!

Totally Lethbridge College (TLC) is a volunteer communication and recognition program. By keeping our members informed of volunteer opportunities and celebrating volunteering milestones reached, we are building a culture of volunteerism for our staff, students, alumni and community. Everyone is welcome to take part.

Some volunteers like recognition. Others don’t. So, why do we ask you to report your volunteer hours to TLC? A few very good reasons…
- To show what a difference volunteers make! Each year LC staff and students are giving back to the community, and reporting hours gives us a way to measure the impact the College makes.
- The College’s WCB coverage extends to TLC volunteers. As part of the WCB agreement with LC, we are required to submit volunteer hours.
- If you prefer anonymity, that’s ok! We still ask you to report your hours, BUT we’ll keep it just between us.
