Spaghetti Western
The 9th annual Spaghetti Western was held on June 1st with 210 guests in attendance. It was a fabulously, fun evening! Over the past nine years, this event has raised almost $335,000 for key projects at Lethbridge College! Thank you so much for your support of our events!
The night featured gourmet grub by LA Chefs including a pig roast from Pincher Creek Colony, sponsored by Val & Flora Matteotti, Galko Homes, and Balog Auctions Services Inc. and guests enjoyed free wine at their table courtesy of Enercon Water Treatment.
The Barnyard Games were a little more exciting this year when the rooster got away from us during the Cummins Western Canada Chicken Bingo. The Foster & Sons Jewellers Cow Patty Pull saw two big winners of $500 gift certificates, plus a 1 in 3 chance to win a prize which meant just about everyone went home with something. The Servus Credit Union 50/50 draw gave away $305 to one lucky winner and an additional $750 donated by Servus Credit Union to Kodiak House. The new game this year, Cow Patty Tasting, got one table up to the buffet first.
Our very lively auction with the amazing Balog Auction Services Inc. team, saw some items going for 10 times their value raising a whopping $21,000 from our 16 items. And to cap off the evening, Trevor Panczak and Rough Stock sponsored by Gas King Oil Co. Ltd. got our guests up dancing late into the night.
